GlomCon Hawaii 2024 launches an exciting new chapter in our learning experience: a hybrid event that combines a Satellite Symposium with core conference sessions, all hosted in Maui at the idyllic Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort!
Why In-Person?
The mission of GlomCon is to provide medical education based on the best available evidence, free of commercial and ideological bias. That focus — and, since 2016, a successful track record of more than 250 live virtual seminars — revealed a natural next step: bringing the GlomCon community together for deeper learning, sharing, and networking.
What to Expect
Our purpose-built GlomCon Hawaii 2024 conference agenda combines case presentations, pathology and treatment overviews, and lively panel discussions. This varied format helps us deliver clinical and scientific value to all attendees and ensures we continue advancing knowledge in our field.
Hybrid Format Expands Access
We’re eager to gather the GlomCon community in person in beautiful Hawaii, but we also recognize the critical role that virtual education plays in expanding access.
Satellite Symposium
Full GlomCon Hawaii 2024 programming is available virtually and in person. A Satellite Symposium on August 6 will feature leading experts in clinical trials. Topics include:
Clinical trial design
Patient recruitment challenges
Regulatory updates
Post-market evaluation
Clinical endpoints for glomerular diseases
Core Conference
GlomCon Hawaii 2024’s core conference continues Aug. 7–9. Areas of focus include:
Aug. 7 — Renal pathologists will present in-depth, interactive lectures on the histopathology of lupus nephritis, small vessel vasculitis, podocytophathies, paraprotein-related kidney disease, and IgA nephropathy,
Aug. 8–9 — A combination of lectures, case presentations, and case-based panel discussions will dissect clinicopathological correlations and evidence-based treatment approaches in all major glomerular diseases.
This hybrid conference marks a much-anticipated expansion in GlomCon’s collaborative learning resources. We hope you’ll join us in Maui to be part of this experience as we continue to foster a global network of emerging nephrology leaders while enjoying Hawaii’s serenity, sun and surf.
This conference has been approved for a total of 22.5 CME hours.
